Song of Solomon 7:1-13

1. O noble daughter,
how beautiful are your feet in sandals!
Your thighs are like jewels,
the work of a master craftsman.
2. Your navel is like a round goblet,
always filled with fine wine.
Your waist is like a heap of wheat,
surrounded by lilies.
3. Your breasts are like two fawns,
like twin young gazelles.
4. Your neck is like a tower of ivory,
and your eyes like the pools of Heshbon,
by the gate of Bath-Rabbim.
Your nose is like the tower of Lebanon,
which faces Damascus.
5. Your head is as majestic as Mount Carmel,
and your hair flows like a royal purple.
The king is captivated by your tresses.
6. How beautiful and delightful you are,
O beloved, more pleasing than any joy!
7. Your stature is like a palm tree,
and your breasts are like its clusters.
8. I said to myself:
‘I will climb the palm tree;
I will take hold of its branches.’
Then I see that your breasts are like clusters of grapes,
your breath has the fragrance of apples,
9. and your lips like the finest wine.
Let the wine flow smoothly for my beloved,
gently passing over his lips,
drifting him into sweet slumber.
10. I belong to my beloved,
and he desires only me.
11. Come, my love,
let us go out to the fields,
let us spend the night among the henna blossoms.
12. Let us rise early and go to the vineyards,
to see if the vines have budded,
if their blossoms have opened,
if the pomegranates are in bloom.
There I will give you my love.
13. The mandrakes spread their fragrance,
and at our doors are all kinds of choice fruits,
both new and old,
which I have kept for you, my beloved.
